  • I am interested in an AURIO Trial Subscription. Must I cancel if I do not wish to continue with a regular subscription?

No, your Trial Subscription will end automatically after your second issue.

  • For which instruments does AURIO publish music?

The AURIO Music Library of Inspirations is continually growing. We currently offer solo music literature for flute, clarinet, piano, guitar, violin and cello. Over time we plan to add more solo instruments as well as orchestral and choral music.

  • If I purchase an AURIO Signature Edition, do I get the audio sample on a CD?

Even better: every print edition contains a link which will give you access to the audio clip of your purchase via PC, tablet or smartphone.

  • I play in a trio. Must I purchase an AURIO issue for each of the other members?

No. All of our chamber music editions contain individual sheet music for each part, so your purchase can be played by your duo, trio or quartet as soon as it arrives. We wish you much music-making enjoyment!

  • Will the pieces be too hard for me to play?

The pieces in our music editions are intended for ambitious amateur musicians and for music instruction, with degrees of difficulty ranging between 2 and 4 (out of 6). We also present more challenging works that are well worth the effort of learning: a terrific challenge for you to grow and improve your proficiency through AURIO.

  • Can I use the digital issues of AURIO on my tablet?

Yes. Our digital issues are compatible with almost every popular score reading app.

  • Isn't an AURIO subscription a bit of a shot in the dark?

Not at all. Of course, you can’t know exactly which works we’ll be presenting in future issues, but you can rely on AURIO to select classical music gems that are well worth playing and hearing – selected by musicians for musicians. Each issue will include diverse selections to surprise you with inspiration for your repertoire. If you want to get an idea first, simply purchase one of our single issues or try our Trial Subscription which ends automatically after two issues.

  • How can I submit one of my compositions or arrangements to AURIO?

AURIO, The Music Library of Inspirations, is the first music publisher that works exclusively with curators. This means that it is not possible for composers to submit their own works for publication, with the exception of our AURIO SIGNATURE and COMPOSER’S SPECIAL series.

You are nevertheless cordially welcome to apply for a place in our COMPOSER’S SPECIAL by submitting up to three original works or arrangements.

  • Who decides which works will be published in the COMPOSER'S SPECIAL?

Submissions are examined by a jury made up of professionals from the publishing industry along with renowned musicians. With a little luck you’ll be one of the composers introduced to our subscribers in the COMPOSER’S SPECIAL.

  • When will I be informed if my work(s) will be included?

We receive quite a large number of submissions. It takes time for our jury to carefully examine each work, therefore it may be up to six months before we contact you. We kindly ask you to refrain from requesting information regarding the status of your submission during this time. You will hear from us in any event.

  • May I suggest works for the AURIO SIGNATURE Editions?

Thank you for your interest in our MUSIC LIBRARY OF INSPIRATIONS. Together we are strong!

We are currently working on a solution so that you can recommend your favourite works for publication in the AURIO SIGNATURE Series, and we’ll be introducing this feature on our website starting on 1 June 2020. Please visit our website then!
